Based on the original novels, Sherlock is the show that put Benedict Cumberbatch on the map. Look towards his style throughout the show including his classic overcoat and scarves. A lesser-known style icon of television culture, Gabriel Macht plays the Harvard law graduate, Harvey Specter. Specter’s style throughout the show is very conservative. His normal uniform is an impeccably tailored two-piece Tom Ford suit with peak lapels and a single vent. Specter switches these up throughout the show and his wardrobe is a highlight of the show.

5. Archer (2009 – Present)
This animated comedy shows us all how a suit should fit. It should look effortless. Archer Sterling makes it look that way. Even though he typically wears his grey two-piece suit, he does stretch his style muscles from time to time. This is a perfect example of a daily uniform to adopt.

Tommy Shelby played by Cillian Murphy is who you need to keep your style eyes on in this show. While all the characters look amazing, Shelby’s style bursts through the screen with his amazing monochromatic outfits. 7. Miami Vice (1984 – 1989)
Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas star in this monumental television show. This is the show that defined the style of the late 80’s and early 90’s. While we wouldn’t match Sonny Crocket’s (Don Johnson) style exactly, he does show us how to incorporate more color into our outfits in a world embracing darker colors and patterns. 10. How I Met Your Mother (2005 – 2014)
The “Legendary” Barney Stinson played by Neil Patrick Harris always looked amazing during the nine-season run of this hit comedy. Barney knows his stuff too and would often tell people style do’s and don’ts. I challenge you to find any outfit that would not look good today that Barney is wearing. Just don’t get any ideas about stealing a blue French Horn.

11. White Collar (2009 – 2014)
White Collar stars Matthew Bomer as a gentleman thief (a la Thomas Crown) named Neal Caffrey. Caffrey dresses impeccably throughout the show. He favored darker colored suits in grey and navy. He occasionally wore lighter suits in blue and green. He also favored the skinny tie in which he perfectly tailored his lapel width and collar size to match the width of his skinny ties. This is a next level style move that every man should learn and adopt.

Alec Baldwin as Jack Donaghy looks amazing throughout the entire show. Every single suit is perfectly tailored and styled and is a great guide to any gentleman exactly how to wear a suit and look amazing while doing. It doesn’t matter what body type you are, a perfectly tailored suit will look amazing on any man. To sum up the style of Jack Donaghy, I’ll use a quote from the show. Idris Elba stars as DCI John Luther in this British crime drama. Elba loves to layer in this show with a stunning tweed overcoat over his suits which typically have a pattern of some sort as opposed to a straight color. Layering and different textures = next level styling.

14. White Gold (2017 – Present)
A British comedy following the interesting adventures of three double-glazing window salesmen, White Gold shows off 1980’s styling extremely well. 17. The Kominsky Method (2018 – Present)
A comedy about getting old but looking good while doing it, Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin ooze charisma together on screen. They also both ooze style. Arkin’s character, Norman Newlander, is always looking amazing in a blazer and tie. He mixes and matches many different patterns and unique blazers into his wardrobe. Meanwhile his best friend in the show Sandy Kominsky (Michael Douglas) is on the other end of the style spectrum. Douglas is extremely casual sporting many different light jackets and scarves. A story about American entrepreneur, Harry Gordon Selfridge opening his department store “Selfridges & Co.” on Oxford Street in London, this show has amazing style throughout it. Casual style is David Duchovny’s specialty in Californication. Before his fall from grace, Kevin Spacey’s Francis Underwood showed us so many great suits throughout this show. He isn’t the only one looking amazing either! Michael Kelly’s character, Doug Stamper, also looks great in his suits. In fact, every character in this show looks amazing while they’re committing heinous crimes. The show teaches that there are two kinds of pain in the world and bad style is definitely a useless one and Underwood has no patience for useless things.
