- Pursue your dreams, not somebody else’s
- Be present and enjoy the moment
- Lose the guilt about being successful
- Pay yourself first, and systemize self-improvement and self-investment
- Find great mentors, and then eventually be a great mentor
- Learn to use money effectively. If you don’t know how to use money, it will use you
- Surround yourself with amazing relationships and people who love you
- Tell yourself that you’re responsible for your own situation, and that you have the power to change it
- Read the classics, and in general become a voracious reader and learner
- Start now! The best time to plant a year is 10 years ago, and the second best time is right now
